LOCAL DAY CAMPS |
Summer Rowing on the Occoquan
Four weeks for only $250
Summer blowout sale! Four weeks of rowing at a reduced cost of just $250. This is the most economical way for your kids to continue their training and
skill development throughout the summer months. We have access to top level equipment and a very experienced coaching staff. The focus of the program will be sweep rowing, with some
limited access to sculling boats. The program will be coached by a number of current Division I rowers, representing programs such as UVA, William and Mary, George Mason and the
University of Alabama, which will provide your kids with the added bonus of hearing first hand what rowing in college involves.
There are two 4 week sessions being offered:
(Both sessions run weekly,
Monday – Thursday
6pm-8pm)
Camp #1: July 6th-July
30th
Camp #2: August 3rd-August
27th
**Camp sessions that are canceled due to excessive temperatures or bad weather will be rescheduled on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings.
We have a limited number of spots available. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis until the camps are full.

Introduction to Rowing
Two weeks for only $75
We are offering two, two week of rowing clinics at a reduced cost of just $75. This is a great way for middle school and high school students, who have
never tried the sport of rowing, to get out on the water and experience rowing in an eight. We have access to top level equipment and a very experienced coaching staff. The program will
be coached by a number of current Division I rowers, representing programs such as UVA, William and Mary, George Mason and the University of Alabama, which will provide your kids with the
added bonus of hearing first hand what rowing in college involves.
There are two, 2 week sessions being offered::
(Both sessions run weekly,
Monday – Thursday from 6pm-8pm)
Camp #1: July 13th–July 23rd
Camp #2: August 10th–August 20th

June 8th – July 22nd 2009 at Dee Campbell Rowing Center
Pre-Registration Closes on June 5, 2009
ODBC is now adding a summer select program, and will be racing at The Charm City Sprints (MD), Independence Day Regatta (Philadelphia), Capital Sprints (DC), possibly
Schuylkill Navy Regatta (Philadelphia), and the USRowing Club National Championships (Oak Ridge, TN).
Practices are M-F from 7:00am-8:30am and 4:00pm-5:30pm with both practices mandatory
