Regatta Volunteer Information

The National Capital Scholastic Rowing Association (NCSRA) requires all schools that participate in their regattas to provide volunteers to staff various positions at every meet.  Our club is fined if we do not provide a volunteer for the designated position. Robinson Crew asks every family to fill one of these positions during the season.  Sign ups take place at the Winter membership meeting.  Volunteers get 5 points for each completed shift.

Sandy Run Volunteers:  On the day you volunteer, you must sign in on 2 roster sheets at the Regatta Headquarters (Sandy Run) which is the small building on the right as you're walking down the hill to the boathouse.  Sign in at the required time.  You will then go immediately to your job site.  If you're unsure where to go, the sign-in coordinators will help you.  You may also need to sign in again at the job site and you may also need to sign out.  If in doubt, ask someone.
