| Directions to Alexandria Regatta Site (TC Williams boathouse): |

Directions: The City of Alexandria is conveniently located near the Washington Beltway (I-495). Take Exit 1B (north route 1) to Old Town (route 1 becomes Patrick Street); proceed 14 blocks to Madison Street and turn right. The boathouse is at the end of the street. Heading south on Route 1, Madison Street will be on your left at the second light after crossing over the Monroe Street bridge. Or, heading south on the GW Parkway, Madison will be on your left at the fifth light upon entering Old Town (one block past the Wendy's). The Boathouse is at the end of Madison but it's better to look for street parking before you cross Fairfax Street. Please do not drive onto the Rivergate townhouse community (private property) near the Boathouse. |
| Trailer drivers take note: Madison is a dead end street at the Boathouse. There is no turning space. Trailers should be backed down from Fairfax Street, which is last intersection before going down to the Boathouse. Also, the gate will to be unlocked in order to provide access to the Boathouse property where the trailers will be parked. |
