++ BUS TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION ++

The FCPS bus will leave from the back entrance of Robinson, near the trailers (near entrance # 9), promptly at 4pm. Those students riding the bus should arrive at the bus loading area at 3:45pm to meet the parent
chaperone.

Students who are riding the bus back to Robinson following crew practice MUST complete the following information on the chaperones clip board: rower name, cell phone, and cell/home number contact for the parent. Please remind your student to return to the bus ASAP
following crew practice. As they board the bus, they will be asked to cross their name off of the clip board. We do not want to leave anyone behind.

If your rower is not riding the bus back to Robinson, they should NOT sign
the clipboard when boarding the bus at 4pm. This is the only way we can be certain we have all the rowers on the bus prior to departing Sandy Run. If the rower has a change in plans, they MUST inform the bus chaperone. Failure to do so may result in termination of their bus riding privileges.

 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTs FOR NATIONALs:
Crews will qualify for events based on their performance at qualifying championships.  The qualifying championship regattas are: Florida State Championship, Mid-West Championship, New Jersey Scholastic Championship, New York State Scholastic Championship, Philadelphia City Championship, and the Virginia Scholastic Championship (a.k.a. STATEs).   All teams must qualify at their local championship or petition for open slots.  Petitions will be accepted from crews placing below the automatic selection criteria but priority for petitions will be given to crews that are not from one of the listed championship regattas.
